Why Christian Men Hit On Pagan Women

This might be a "well duh moment" for some of you gals out there but I've figured something out. It will help me maintain my cool in the future and may just as well help out some of you too.

I joined an online community that wasn't meant for dating but seems to be the groups main focus right now. Everyone on the site has a profile page and most intelligent people read them and look through the others profile pictures before approaching them.

But - then there are the "Good Christian" men who have been hitting on me since I joined the group. I was becoming quite irritated, and a little angry, as well as frustrated. This morning was the last straw, I had to walk away from my computer before I blew a gasket.

I went in the other room and lit some tobacco and meditated. I asked "Why are these men so persistent?" and it came to me.

You don't have to be physically beautiful, or young, to be attractive to the opposite sex, although that may help in some cases. What most people find attractive in others is a sense of self confidence and the ability to feel comfortable in ones own skin.

What happens is these "Good Christian" men are sexually attracted to Pagan women because they are exactly that, comfortable with themselves, and have a great deal of self confidence, but being Christian they consider it lust and therefore have to lie to themselves by saying I'm here to save her soul from eternal damnation.

"...every one who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart." - Jesus Christ (Mt 5:28)

From the ten commandments #7 Neither shall you commit adultery. 1st part of #9 Neither shall you covet your neighbor’s wife. Well now if these men break a commandment they are committing a sin and  For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

So of course they want to snuff out thier lustful ways or at least hide it from others in thier community. They have a great many written and unwritten rules about how they want thier women to dress to make them look plain and yet 50% of "Good Christian" men and 20% of "Good Christian'' women are addicted to pornography as shown by the following poll:

A poll conducted by what bills itself as "the world's most visited Christian website" indicates a surprising number of Christians are addicted to pornography, RAW STORY has learned.

So, I will just continue on my merry way. and either laugh, or tell them to let thier own women be women, and they will finally be satisfied with what they have, instead of going after what they will never get.
